Insecurities, old skeletons, and my own preconceptions…
Two weeks on autopilot-filming, watching, editing myself-I lost sight of one truth: deep reflection was inevitable. Insecurities, old skeletons, and my own preconceptions of what’s ‘good enough’ have been swirling around as I create this debut course. It’s become my own reawakening, in a way. Deeper still, every subject in this course feels eerily connected to the tremors we creatives face over time: Intuition, Spirit, Comforts, Process, Authenticity, and Journey to name a few…So in a strange twisted hall of mirrors moment, I find myself listening to my words and wisdom as I navigate this mini journey.

We’ve raised generations of expert processors, including ourselves-but at what cost? We were all born with limitless creative instincts-play, curiosity, and self-expression. But instead of nurturing these, we bombard ourselves with information to process, not ideas to create. From an early age, our minds are overloaded, our ability to express ourselves on our own terms eroded, and for most, our primal creative instincts dulled. Those of us who still identify as 'creatives' are becoming a rare species. And if we look at ourselves as adults, we see the impact. Our own creative magic has been buried and suppressed in the same way. But here’s the thing is reversible. Creativity isn’t lost, it’s waiting to be reawakened.
