Artist and designer Ryan Board builds instruments, interventions, and systems for experiencing the world differently.

After decades shaping the visions of others - from headline artists to global brands - Ryan Board reemerges with a singular focus: to apply deep creativity to urgent questions of ecology, perception, and culture.

BoARD now operates as a living research platform—producing experiential tools, spatial propositions, and public experiments across disciplines.

This year, BoARD initiates LIGHT OUT↗, a nationwide ecological signal launching in Malta and visible from orbit. The work marks the beginning of a five-year programme combining infrastructure, imagination, and civic participation.
